Episode One, South Florida real estate business and lifestyle. This is Agent Ferguson.
Hey everybody, it’s Scott Ferguson with South Florida real estate, business and lifestyle and also AgentFerguson.com. We are super stoked to be able to bring you our very first podcast. It’s something that I’ve wanted to put together for a couple years I’ve been pushed by friends, family colleagues, to do a podcast that is relating to every city from about Stuart, Florida, down to Miami, Florida. So I’m it’s just been a while and I really wanted to put this together and I am so happy to be able to do it for you. There’s just I have not seen or heard any podcasts that is consistent here in South Florida. Podcasts now there’s probably only 600,000 podcasts out there. There’s a lot of blogs, there’s a lot of YouTube channels and whatnot for South Florida. But there’s really nothing that’s on our podcast channel. So I wanted to get this dropped out to you for you to basically follow along and, and see what’s happening here in South Florida. The values that you’ll get from this are really just real time market updates that we have going on in South Florida. With regards to real estate, business and also the happenings that are happening with the social there’s a very social place. This is a warm place down here. People are always doing stuff. So I want to kind of fill you in. So this can be kind of a one stop shop for you to come and see what’s really happening and get a pulse here in South Florida. We again we kind of go from Martin County, down to Dade County, so that is Palm Beach, that is Broward and then you hit Dade. And it’s it’s fantastic. So we are super happy to be able to bring you this podcast, we will have a format of about one podcast a week and not always going to bore you with our market updates, mortgage, Hurricane readiness, social updates. So we’ll do one podcast week generally to drop on Thursday. So it’ll be to you by the weekend so you can see anything that’s happening that week. In that podcast, I’m going to also interview probably a mortgage broker that I work with one of our preferred lenders. And he will give us updates on rates terms and different programs that he or she has coming out. So I cannot wait to share that information with you and we’re going to call that the mortgage matters part of our podcast.
Okay, then I’m going to do one to two interviews weekly, with people in our area here in South Florida that have a pulse on what is going on. They could Me business leaders, they could be other agents other than myself real estate agents other than myself, because I love to pick their brains and I always love to learn. So we will be doing probably 15 to 20 minute interviews once or twice a week and getting that out to you as well. So if there’s any business leaders out there, you can be an entrepreneur, you can work for a company, please give us a reply to this podcast, whether it’s on our website or on iTunes or iheart radio or Stitcher, Spotify, and we’d be happy to see about getting you on the podcast. Okay, so also, I also am a have a podcast called time to shine today dot com, and that really is more nationwide, and I interview people of influence around the United States around the world. So there might be some episodes where we cross pollinate with time to shine and South Florida real estate, business and lifestyle. And if it fits, that’s great, and I can’t wait to bring you those as well. So I cannot wait to I keep saying cannot wait. I just been wanting to do this podcast for so long. It’s just fantastic. And I’m super, super stoked, super happy to be able to do this for you. Special thanks to my lovely lady Susan. She’s fantastic and very supportive in this. My broker over at Sutter Nugent real estate, he’s fantastic as well, very supportive in this and he’s kind of been pushing me to get this podcast out there to our local community as well.
A little bit about me, I transplant from Detroit, Michigan, down to South Florida, in 2014. So Wow, it’s been five years. Love the weather, love the people love the vibe, love the ocean. That’s what really, really brought me down here. I’m a US Navy veteran from 19. Now about four and a four and a half, five years from 90 to 95. So I served our country. I love our country, and I hope you do too. So I kind of parlays into that either. I’m a real estate agent and I am also the managing director of PalmBeachHeroes.com if you’d like to visit there, and what that is, is anybody that is a veteran or a first responder, such as a police officer, firefighter, nurses, doctors, and also heroes are teachers and clergy. So, what we do here at the Ferguson team or agent Ferguson, is we give back 20% of our commission on sales to the hero, which means they can use it generally comes between 1000 and $2,000 per transaction per purchase per sale. And that saves them a min thousand to $2,000. So that’s, you know, a couch, they can buy a refrigerator, they can buy something like that. So it really helps them out and it’s my way of giving back to my fellow heroes. So that’s our palm beach Heroes program. Also really into giving I kind of take a go giver approach to things and I’m always volunteering and serving others, whether it’s with Operation 300 for children of veterans that were killed in combat, I am also available or I’m also working with a reaching higher program to help kids in high school, take their lives to the next level, because those are the kids can be taking care of me when I get a little bit older. So I’m just all about giving back. I love my community. And I just love that I have the opportunity to bring you South Florida real estate, business and lifestyle. So I’m not asking for any reviews right now. I’m not asking for anything if you have feedback for me. Fantastic. Anybody that you want to see on the show and the segments you want to see, that’s great.
